KH + is intended for freshwater aquariums.

The KH or carbonate hardness mainly refers to the amount of carbonate ions (CO32-) and hydrogen carbonate (HCO3-) present in the water. KH measures the buffering capacity of water: in other words, its ability to resist pH changes. The higher its value, the more difficult it will be to vary the pH. The KH values must be adapted to those of the biotope to be maintained.

Use: a dose of KH + increases the total hardness of 100 liters of water by 3 ° KH.

GH - Salt supplement to restore total hardness (dGH)

GH + is intended for freshwater aquariums.

GH or total water hardness mainly refers to the amount of calcium ions (Ca2 +) and magnesium ions (Mg2 +) present in the water. The higher the GH value, the greater the hardness of the water. The lower the GH value, the sweeter the water.

The GH values must be adapted to those of the aquarium biotope.

Usage:

a dose of GH + increases the total hardness of 100 liters of water by 3 ° GH.
